About Nicholas Trerice
Nicholas Trerise made his life as a sea captain, who captained three ships (Planter, Rebecca, Chapman), and probably lost his life at sea.
Nicholas was born about 1589.[2]
Nicholas hailed from Stepney, county Middlesex, England, which was the home of several other mariners heading voyages to New England.[1] Some of them chose to settle at Charlestown, as did Nicholas.
Immigration
Nicholas made multiple voyages from London Port to New England over a period of years. In 1639, he decided to settle at Charlestown, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1]
Property and Positions
Nicholas was one of the first thirty-two men who subscribed to the formation of the town of Woburn, Massachusetts on 13 April 1640 (p 20).[1]
He was Master of the ships Planter, Rebecca, and Chapman during his career.[2]
Marriage
Nicholas married, as her 1st, to Rebecca (Unknown).[3]
Death and Legacy
Nicholas died in 1653 at Charlestown, Massachusetts.[2]

Passengers of the Planter 1635 - Master Nicolas Travice, Voyage of 1635. The Planter sailed from London April 2 or 11, 1635, arriving at Boston June 7, 1635. n.b. Hotten has Trarice, Nico for the master.
