Noah Castor was farmer at Ashland County, Ohio. He Politics; Democrate. He was born in 1758 or 1764 at Brock's Gap, Augusta County, Virginia; There is some dispute about his birth date and parents. If computed from his tombstone, he was born in 1764 and his father was Conrad Castor. There is evidence to support the theory that his father was Arnold Custer and he was raised by his grandfather, Conrad Castor. If that is so then he must have been born in 1758 because Arnold died in March of 1759.1,2
