Nolan Cecil Melton

Nolan grew up in the Paris, Texas area and was a farmer most of his life. He went to Houston Texas in 1942 and worked at Houston Ship Channel during the war. He married Catherine Gann in 1933 and there were four children born from this union. They are Loretta, Charles, Wayne, and Larry. His wife and four children survived him, as well as four grand children. At this time he has twelve great grand children and three great great grand children. My father loved children and would be overjoyed at the heritage he has left behind. His wife and one son, Charles has since passed away.
Nolan was the son of Benjamine Franklin Melton and Margaaret Armenta Lambert.

The birth date and death date on his headstone are wrong, but the ones in this bio are correct.
