Norman and his wife died in a boating accident on Lake Nyashia in Kenya, Africa with his wife's parents. Somehow they got unto a whirlwind. They did not return and were reported lost. Aircraft looked for them. Their bodies were found wedged on a shelf under water where crocodiles had taken them to rot. The bodies were recovered for burial. They had no children
