ONE OF TWO WOMEN MacGregor

Ancestry.com has two different trees for this family, each giving a different wife for Donald MacGregor (the son of the famous Rob Roy MacGregor). It seems clear that this is not a case of Donald marrying twice, because in each tree, the different women are each shown as the mother of the same children.

One ancestry.com tree shows Janet McLaren (daughter of Duncan McLaren and Jean Armstrong) as the wife of Donald MacGregor. However, in Geni, she is shown as the wife of Duncan MacEwen, here:

The second ancestry.com tree shows Sarah Cameron as the wife of Donald MacGregor. She is not yet in Geni (ancestry.com gives her birth in 1752 in Scotland, and death in Muirshearlich, Inverness-shire, Scotland).
