About Olga V. Brown (Chrust)

Olga Brown, 92, Sarasota, died April 27, 2005. She was born Sept. 7, 1912, in New York, and came to Sarasota from there in 1970. Survivors include daughters Veronica Juhas, Ann Durran, and Loretta Scheuermann; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Martha's Catholic Church, Sarasota. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238. Olga and William had three daughters: Vera (Veronica), Ann and Loretta. They lived in Bayside NY and that's where girls were raised. Olga's daughter Vera was most likely named after her younger sister Vera Chrust who died young in 1924.
In the 1940 Census, Olga, 27, was living on 34th Street in New York with her two daughters, Veronica, 5, and Ann, 2. An older woman by the name of Elizabeth Smith, 70, was also living in the home.
