◦Witnesses to first marriage were Thomas Graham, (whose wife was her aunt Ann), and Catherine Darling, (whose husband was her cousin Charles W. Darling). The officiating minister was Rev. John Kennedy, Church of England.
◦Three of her five children died in infancy. Her husband either died, or left her prior to 1865. In 1865 she moved to Aurora, Kane Co, IL, USA, and lived there for several years. In 1883 she went to Beadle Co, SD, USA, where she filed on a homestead, then returned to Aurora. She then remarried, and in 1885 returned to her homestead in Beadle Co, SD, where she remained.
