About Olive Stancliff
Update 12/6/2016(CLM): I have very little on Olive. More research is needed. Original records Archives section, Connecticut State Library His first marriage took place in Middletown, Hartford County, CT on Mar. 10, 1710 and he married OLIVE STANBROUGH. To this union was born James "James Jr" STANCLIFT II. After the death of his wife, Olive, William remarried. She was the mother of James Stancliff Though some records list his 2nd son, Josiah STANCLIFT as being the son of Olive, his date of birth is well after her death. This suggests that he was actually the son born to the 2nd marriage between William and Esther.
