Otis Pursley, a son of Jesse Hudson and Louisa (Snider) Pursley, was born in Roane County WV in 1881 and died in Akron, OH in 1953.

He married Jessie "Bess" Slawter in Akron, OH in 1916. Jessie was born in 1882 and died in Akron in 1973.
