William Cloris Clark was a patriot in the American Revolution. He was a private that enlisted and served at both Valley Forge (one of the sick) and also was at the surrender at Yorktown. He is recognized by both the SAR and DAR. He and his wife Barbara are both buried in the graveyard behind the Lorentz Church, along with many other of their Clark descendants.
