Mr. Pat Lewis age 89 of New Tazewell, TN was born January 28, 1926 and passed away July 17, 2015 at the Claiborne Medical Center. He was a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. Pat retired in 1995 from the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture Division of Animal Industries. After retirement, Pat enjoyed farming.He was preceded in death by his:Parents: Milt and Ella Lewis2 Brothers7 SistersHe is survived by his:Loving wife of 68 years: Mary Beth Lewis of New Tazewell, TNDaughter: Elaine Rutherford and husband Harold Jr. of Knoxville, TNGrandchildren: Chris Rutherford and wife Laura of Knoxville, TNAmy Rutherford of Chattanooga, TN Great Granddaughter: Molly RutherfordSeveral nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.The family will receive friends Monday, July 20, 2015 from 5PM till 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Claiborne-Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Eddie Overholt officiating. Music will be provided by Janice Derreberry. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 10AM in the Fairview Cemetery.Pallbearers: Sam McCollough, Bobby Walker, Larry Evans,Steve Hayes, Glen McCollough and Denny Peters.
