About Pauline Segall
Mrs. Pauline Raginsky Segal I, 4928 Ponsard Avenue, died at her home after a short illness, on Friday, February 26. She is Survived by her husband, Jerry Segall; a son, Dr. Asher J. Segall, of Boston, Mass.; a daughter, Mrs. R. Schucher (Rena), 3850 St Catherine Road; two grandchildren, Ruth Karen and Kathy Anne Schucher; and two brothers: Harry Raginsky, 4955 Ponsard Avenue; and Dr. Ben Raginsky, 220 Chester Avenue. Funeral services took place from Paperman's, Rabbi Wilfred Shuchat officiating. Burial was at Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery. For many years, Mrs.,Segall was engaged in communal work, at Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue, the Jewish General Hospital, and with other organizations. Her husband has been active in the work of Jewish immigration for years and part of that time was national president of the Jewish Immigrant Aid Services and of its board of trustees. Mrs. Segall'a father was Abraham Raginsky, for many years president of Bnai Jacob Synagogue.
