Peggy Jane Brown

Peggy Jane Brown, 71, of Gordonsville, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at her residence. Born October 11, 1944, in Fredericksburg, she was a daughter of the late George Franklin Hoskins and Annie Mae Fallin Hoskins.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brown of Gordonsville; two daughters, Terri Trevillian and husband, Billy of Clarksville, and Teresa Seaberry and husband, Eric of Gordonsville; two sons, Donald Mills and wife, Trish of Amissville, and Troy Swan and wife, Amy of Louisa; stepchildren, Ryan Brown of Gordonsville, and Kasity Cawthorne and husband, Larry of Gordonsville; foster daughter, Pam West and husband, Doug of Palmyra; two brothers, Tommy Hoskins of Fredericksburg, and Johnny Hoskins and wife, Peggy Lou of Fredericksburg; one sister, Joyce McLaughlin of Gordonsville,17 grandchildren; and her faithful companion, Diamond.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Hoskins.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday July 13, 2016, at Mechanicsville Baptist church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jim Riddel will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
