Peter, the eldest son of Richard Higgons of Stretton, married Catherine, daughter of Roger Baker.
His son and heir George Higgons was chief bailiff of Shrewsbury in 1584, and died 23rd October, 1591, and was buried in St. Alkmund’s Church.
Richard Higgons, the third son (2nd according to Visitations 1623) was of Shrewsbury in 1584. This Richard married Maria, daughter of John Wilding of Shrewsbury.
