her mother, Catherine Rigby, sailed back to England after applying for

return passage after gaining her freedom. Sailed on the vessel HMS Hindostan

in the company of HMS Dromedary and HMS Porpoise that had as a passenger the

ex-Governor of NSW, William Bligh on 7 May 1810. She married John Cupitt,

son of George Cupitt and Mary Wicks, on 29 November 1819 at St Matthew's

Church of England Windsor. As of 29 November 1819, her married name was

Cupitt. She and George Cupitt were in a defacto relationship circa 1840.
