Peter Siljuberget Uthus Olson immigrated to the USA in 1891 by way of Superior, Wisconsin. Ola Siljuberget was the father.to these men. The two older brothers, Peder and Anders had come earlier. Peder Uthus kept his last name Uthus. Grandpa Peter changed his last name to Olson due to both of the brothers living in Superior for a time and getting their mail mixed up. Peter changed his name to Peter Uthus Olson. Anders changed his name to Andrew Olson and moved to Ashland, Wi and started a wood mill business.
