Phebe and Abraham went through the "clearness" process in Quaker Meeting, once at the house of Thomas Shackle (the 10th of the 9th mo., 1698) at Newton township ( Thomas Shacklo, Quaker elder )
~• The Watson, Dennis, & Alberson familes are lumped together and well known back in Ireland as seen in the 1705 letter of young Benjamin Chandlee (1685-1743) see: https://books.google.com/books?id=2mzmCwAAQBAJ&pg=PA248&lpg=PA248&d...
~• By several inferences we see that she is extremely likely the daughter of William Watson of Chesterfield Meeting . In this scenario, Bridget Watson, the second wife of William must be Phebe's step-mother for Phebe married just a few years after Briidget married William.
SO: For now I am going to add Phebe as a daughter of this William Watson for, as we we see, the Albersons and Watson continued a working relationship in the West Jersey Province.
A search continues for more verification and for her mother. Take a look at this document
The only problem is that the William Watson family of Benjamin Chandlee's letter was living in Ireland... (!) So all this has to be rethought-out... (Feb. 2020)MMvB For now, I still think that Phebe is the dau. of William's and and a known 2nd wife.
