Burial record from the records of Rev. J.H. Hunton: Philip Stata died age 74 years, five months, 13 days on July 30 1867.

Original burial: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Riverside, east of Morrisburg, a cemetery affected by the St. Lawrence River seaway and power projects. The new cemetery was rehabilitated north of the cemetery that was to be flooded, with some headstones relocated to Upper Canada Village.
