Brief overview:

Philisiwe (47), was shot dead in Hillcrest Street, in Delta Park, Craighall Park, on the night of Thursday 19th May 2005. She was walking with her daughter and another friend when they were chased by an armed man. When the women ran away, Philisiwe was shot in the chest and passed away at the scene. Her daughter was severely assaulted, but the friend was left unharmed.

No arrests had been made and the motive for the attack was not known.
