About Phillip Breidenstein
An article written by Weir and Rofini, "German Qualification for Naturalization in Pennsylvania, 1728."; says that on April 1, 1728 at the home of Martin Mylen in Conestoga, PA, approximately 200 Mennonites joined by 23 fellow Germans signed the documents qualifying them for naturalization. Philip Breitenstein was one of the "fellow Germans" who signed the oath.
According to the Lancaster County Patent Book AA Vol. 4 Pages 469-471 Phillip Breitenstein was the father of Lenhardt Breidenstein. This document shows that on May 8, 1739 Phillip did sell and convey 169 acres of land on Muddy Creek in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to his son Lenhardt.
