Jan 8 1944 Widow of John Hochgesang Dies Mrs. Minnie Hochgesang, widow of the late John Hochgesang, died suddenly at her home at St. Anthony some time last Friday night. Her death was discovered by her granddaughter Margaret Hasenour, who had been staying with her for a few weeks. When Miss Hausenour called her grandmother on Saturday morning, she received no response, and it was discovered that she had passed away during the night. She had not been in the best of health for some time, but her death was unexpected. Deceased was born on a farm near Celestine sixty-four years ago, the daughter of John and Rosa Wibbels. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Anthony Hasenour of St. Anthony, Mrs. Frank Bieker of Ferdinand, Idaho, and MRs. Elmer Thomas of Louisville; three brothers, Ben, Henry and Herman Wibbels of st Anthony; one sister, Mrs. Mary Thieman of St . Anthony, and 14 grandchildren. Her husband passed away in 1935. She was preceded also by a brother, John Wibbels, who died in infancy, a sister, Rose, who died at the age of six, and another sister, Mrs. Mike Klem, who passed away in 1935, nine days after the death of Mrs. Hochgesang’s husband. Funeral services were held at 9 A.M. Tuesday in St. Anthony Catholic church, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
