About Phoebe Lurancy Scholes

Phoebe Adams Scholes, wife of Walter Scholes Sr., died at the family home on 124 North 9th East, at midnight Monday, following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held at the River Heights Ward Chapel on Friday, after which the body was taken to Rigby, Idaho for interment. Mrs. Scholes was born in Salt Lake City 4 June 1969, the daughter of Barnabus and Hannah Chase Adams. Following her marriage to Mr. Scholes, she lived a number of years in Rigby, Idaho. Six years ago the family moved to River Heights and about 6 months ago came to Logan to reside. Surviving are her husband and the following children: Walter A. Scholes, bishop of the River Heights Ward; Mrs Phoebe Beazer of Lorenzo, Idaho; Mrs. Amy Zobell and Mrs. Sarah Goff of Logan, Utah; Alvin A. Scholes of Rigby, Idaho; Mrs. Miriam Ricks of Rexburg, Idaho, and William A. Scholes of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Two sisters, Mrs Amy Thomas and Mrs. Miriam Eakle Kirkham.
