Pierce Butler, 2nd Viscount of Ikerrin

Pierce Butler, 2nd Viscount of Ikerrin was born on 3 September 1637.2 He was the son of Hon. James Butler and Ellen Butler.2 He married Eleanor Bryan, daughter of John Bryan and Jane Loftus.2

He conformed to the Church of England, thus getting his lands back.3 He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.3 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Viscount of Ikerrin, co. Tipperary [I., 1629] before 20 April 1661.3 He was invested as a Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1686.3 Children of Pierce Butler, 2nd Viscount of Ikerrin and Eleanor Bryan
