PIERRE DARDENNE Pierre Dardenne, Dardeyne or Dardaine, wire of the ploughman François Dardenne and Marie Small, were born about 1609, originating in the parish of Villeneuve-the-Countess, the district of St-Jean d' Angély, in Saintes, in the old province of Saintonge, current department of the Charente-Maritime. It marries on June 22, 1637, with Our-Lady-of-Knocks, the Small rock, in Aunis, Gilette Chaigne, girl of Pierre Chaigne, ploughman and of Louise Chenu, originating in Dompierre-on-Sea, in Aunis. Three children are born with the couple, with Our-Lady-of-Knocks. Pierre Dardenne is present at the census of 1666, 57 years old. His wife, Gillete Chaigne, did not come to News-France. The elder one of the children arrived with his father, Marie Dardenne, which is that weaves the bond of genealogy, to my mother, Pierrette Boisvert. Marie, born in 1639, arrives in 1659, married in 1656, with the ancestor Jacques Beauchamp, born in 1635, originating in the Small rock, in Aunis, Marie Dardenne is 36 years old with the census of 1666, but it renovates at 28 years, the following year. It is 48 years old, with the census of 1681 and 72 years, in 1699. Carrying, the ancestor Pierre Dardenne is 51 years old with the census of 1667, Montreal and 80 years with the census of 1661, in Repentigny. It is still registered to be 80 years old with its burial on November 26, 1687, with Point-with-Tremble.
