Pierre Lotz (1941 - 2018)

Brief overview:

Pierre (77), was beaten to death with a blunt object, at his home in President Kruger Road, Parys, on 24th June 2018. The perpetrators gained access to his house through the roof. One of the attackers fell through the roof, and Pierre managed to activate the alarm. His body was found in the lounge. His wife, Maggie, who is paralyzed, and recovering from a surgery, was in the bedroom at the time of the attack, and was unharmed.

Additional Biographical Information:

Pierre served as the lead elder in the Dutch Reformed Mother Church. He was also involved with the Alzheimer's support group, and as deputy chair of the Najaarsrus Governing Council.
