In a letter to Charles P. Stanton, dated 19 March 1994, Harry Hirschhorn supplied the following bibliographic details: "Prof. Harry J. Hirschhorn retired from Chicago City College in 1985, and made aliya to Alfe Menashe in Samaria. As a professional engineer he tested most US nuclear weapons, co-authored a five-volume encyclopedia of "Thermo-Physical Properties of High Temperature Materials," and automated chemical plants. In 1964 he published a bibliography of the Passover Hagada, based on his own collection. He raises and shows hunting dogs (Weimaraners) all over the world."
