Pvt. Andrew S. Greer

Andrew Greer (Greyer) served in the Union Army during the American Civil War as a Private in Company A, 31st Illinois Infantry Regiment. He enlisted on 22 Aug 1861 and mustered in on 18 Sep 1861 in Cairo, Illinois. He died at Cairo, Illinois of wounds received at the Battle of Belmont, Mississippi on November 7, 1861.
