About Pvt Jesse James Taylor
Jesse J. Taylor enlisted as a Private in Company C, 51st Tennessee Infantry, during the War Between the States. He was captured in the Fall of 1862, near Tullahoma, Tennessee. He died while a prisoner in West Alton, Illinois.
Along with his sons Daniel and Stephen Jesse enlisted as a Private in Company C, 51st Tennessee Infantry, during the War Between the States.
