R' Israel Shapiro of Stabichov

The yizkor (memorial) book for Kamien-Koszyrski (1965) says (in translation):

"... Kamen-Kashirskiy was in the care of Kovel's Rabbi Ya'acov Arieh. The Rabbi of Kovel, about 150 years ago, had two sons and two daughters. One of the sons served as the Rabbi of Stobykhva, while the second, Rabbi Levi Yitzhak, served as Rabbi to Kamen-Kashirskiy."

The book Shtetl Finder by Chester G. Cohen says: "Chasidic rabbi Israel of Stabichow, died 1881, was the grandson of Mordecai ..."

Alfasi, Hahasidut midor ledor: "Rabbi Israel of Stabichov son of Rabbi Yaakov Aryeh of Kovel. Died 4 Tammuz 5641. Son-in-law of Rabbi Yehiel Mikhl of Vishnovitz (Zlotshev)." His son was Rabbi Mordekhai of Stabichov, who died 26 Tammuz 5645 (1885); son-in-law of Rabbi Shmuel Yehiel of Botoshan (Zlotshev).
