R' Judah Gordon

G12.2 Mordecai (Marcus) Rabinowitz, died 1842, married Sarah, daughter of R. Yehiel Michel, son of R. Aaron Gordon of Vilna (who was the personal physician doctor to the Polish King John Sobieski III, who ruled from 1670-1696). Mordecai was one of the wealthy and respected members of the Raseiniai community.

Sarah Henna, married R. Judah Gordon, son of R. Abraham Gordon, son of R. Israel Gordon, son R. Abraham Gordon, son of R. Jehiel Michel Gordon (R Jehiel's daughter Sarah is mentioned above as the wife of Sarah Henna's paternal grandfather)

Note: Sarah Henna is listed on page 680 as G13.4, however, it appears that the numbers were transposed and that she should be G14.3.
