About Rabbi Isaac b. Abraham
According to the history of the Holesov Jewish community, "Isaac b. Abraham" was chief rabbi there -- and Av Beit Din [A.B.D.] -- from 1767 until 1786. No death entry for R' Isaac can be found in the Holesov Jewish record books, but it should be noted that death records appear to be missing from the first of March 1786 through the end of May 1786 (probably because it was R' Isaac himself who was responsible for recording the births, marriages, and deaths for the religious community).
R' Isaac's gravestone is still standing in the Holesov Jewish cemetery. The Hebrew on it has been translated as follows: "The great Rabbi Yitzchak son of Avraham -- Av Beit Din and head of Yeshiva, died on the first day of Pesach 5546".
