About Rachel Fullmer Tanner
Rachel married Almon Linus Fullmer, Sr., in Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 10, 1852, as his plural wife. He had previously married Sarah Ann Follett on December 17, 1843, in Nauvoo, Illinois. Rachel and Almon divorced November 24, 1858, after they had three sons, Thaddeus Edgar Fullmer in 1853, Franklin Pierce Fullmer in 1855, and John Hyrum Fullmer in 1857. Rachel then married Sidney Tanner on April 2, 1859, as his plural wife, since he was married at the time to Julia Ann Shepherd, who he married in 1846 after the death of his first wife, Louisa Conlee Tanner. Rachel and Sidney Tanner had three more children, William Neyman Tanner in 1860, Howard Harper Tanner in 1964, and Rachel Adelia Tanner Ferguson in 1866.
