Rachel Goldsein was my father's sister (Lazer Lapides). I am an only child and while I was growing up my parents sent me to visit with my aunt Rachel and my cousins Yosef , Buma and Chaim. Even though she would complain about having another mouth to feed I never felt rejected. I spent mayy shabatot at the Goldstein house hold and was thus imbued with the aura of traditinal Shabbat celebrations and traditions.
