According to this biography, Rachel, Rav Yitzchak Elchanan's only daughter, who was named after the Rav's mother Rachel, was born in Bereza, (today, Biaroza, Belarus). She married R' Zevi Hirsh Sultzovsky, who remained in Rav Yitzchak Elchanan's home after Rachel's untimely death in 1876, working with him on community affairs. Rachel had a daughter, Zlata, who was raised in Rav Yitzchak Elchanan's home. She later married R' Eliyahu Tabelovsky.

Rav Yitzchak Elchanan's biographer, Rabbi Dr. Ephraim Shimoff, lists Zlata's husband's name as R' Eliyahu Rabelovsky. He also describes Rachel, the Rav's daughter, as "a pious woman, highly cultured in Hebrew, Russian, and German."
