Ray Krefman and Harry Gillman spoke their wedding vows Sunday, June 17 at the El Moshe Synagogue in the presence of friends and relatives. Rabbi Stolman officiated at the ceremony. Palms, ferns and cut flowers formed a background for the bridal party. The bride chose for her attire a white satin and lace gown of period style, and a tulle veil. Her bouquet was a shower of white roses and lilies of the valley. Yetta Gillman, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Her gown was of yellow chiffon and lace, she carried yellow tea roses. The bridesmaids, Esther Schwartz, Ethel Alterman, Pauline Faigin, Dorothy Meltzer, wore frocks fashioned alike in pastel shades of orchid, pink and peach. They carried tea roses corresponding in color to that of their gowns. The flower girl, Dorothy Elaine Krefman, niece of the bride, wore pale pink and white. Raymond Steinber, friend of the groom, assisted as best man. The ushers included Morriss Bratt, John Isaacs, Samuel Samson and Irving Shulak. Mr and Mrs Harry Gillman departed after the reception for a motor trip of three weeks through the East. Upon their return they will reside at 2748 Hazelwood. Detroit Jewish Chronicle June 22, 1928
