Mr. Austermann was the beloved husband of Marie, nee Julius, Austermann; beloved father of Janice Austermann and of the late Mary Frances Austermann and PFC Raymond A. Austermann Jr.; dear brothers of Dorothy Arnold, John Austermann and Ida Zychinski, and the late Francis and Herbert Austermann. He was our dear uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend.

Visitation: Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Hoffmeister South Country Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral: Funeral procession will leave at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, from Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, Mo., for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, St. Louis, Mo. Burial will be in Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
