Sunday 17 Sept or Monday 18 wounded in the arm and ended up as a wounded POW at St Joseph Hospital in Apeldoorn
Escaped from train to Germany together with Lt Cambier; recaptured and brought to Sichersheitsdienst HQ in Vorden.
10 October 1944 Lt Bussell and Lt Cambier were executed at SD HQ Vorden.
9 June 1945 reinterred at Vorden Cemetery, Grave 16
