Raymond C. Veazey, 73, of Pine Bluff, died Sunday, November 12, 2006.
He was born October 16, 1933 at Jefferson , a son of the late Alex Veazey and Lela Vanlandingham Veazey.
He was reared and educated at Jefferson and Graduated from White Hall High School.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was a past VFW Post 3715 Sr. Vice Commander.
He was a delivery driver for Shephards Florist after retiring from several years as a bus driver for the city.
He was a member of Oakland Heights Missionary Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Marty Ray Veazey; a brother, Hubert Veazey; and two sisters, Athylee Cannon and Mildred Shilling.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Miller Veazey, whom he married May 16, 1975 at Pine Bluff; two daughters, Shelia Nation of Pine Bluff and June Horton of Little Rock; a sister, Violet Owens of Kokomo, Indiana; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 15, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services with Bro. Roger Kelley officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
