Regina Stella Burmeister

Note from Aunt Harriet (5/10/08). The following is taken from her note to me.

Regina's husband Bill Burmeister was from Brooklyn area. She left Dunkirk, N.Y. to work as a housekeeper for a Dentists family in N.Y. area, where she met Bill. His father, lived with them, I guess, and was very concerned & helped her as much as he could. In later years he was in a Vets Hospital which was in Batavia or Bath, N.Y. where he later died.

After Bill (her husband) died, she married Pat Radawich who seemed to be very good to her and for her, as what we know. She worked 3 jobs in order to pay off all the Dr. & Hospital bills that came as a result of Bills illness. Then she married Pat. We did correspond to keep in touch with her. I guess Pat, was someone she knew from one of her jobs and never met him or know much about him. Bill & Regina, came to Dunkirk for a visit & stayed awhile. Billy , was born here. Bills father sent them the money to come back to Brooklyn.

Added info from Aunt Harriet (5/27/08) In a note sent there was this additional info :

Regina, worked at the Van Raulte Plant on gloves and brought home work somethimes but she just didn't like working there so she quit and got a job as housekeper in New York.
