About Regina (Raitzel) Breuer

Carole Vogel (Garbuny) noted the following on 24 October 2019:

Regina/Raitzel's death information is inconsistent. Her death record from Mattersdorf (which was compiled third-hand) shows that Rosi Breuer died in Vienna on 24 Mar 1863 at age 62. However, her burial information, shows that Rosalia died on Wednesday, 27, March 1863 and was buried on Friday the 29th in Währinger Friedhof, Vienna. Her age at death was 65. The latter information is probably more accurate.

Her name was recorded as Raitzel in the birth record of a child born in 1835 and as Regina in the record of child born in 1837. She was Regi in a child's death record from 1840. In the marriage of child in 1846 she was identified as Rosi. She named a daughter Regina (Rahel) in 1835.

Likely, "Regina" Breuer (Schischa) was always addressed by family and friends as "Raitzel" and only used secular names in official documents. And the informants or the official recording the information identified her as Regina or Rosalia or some permutation of both.
