Rev Clyde Russell Albertson

JCP Obit Flag ALBERTSON, PASTOR CLYDE R.- Age 76, of Homer, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Oak-lawn Hospital of Marshall. He was born July 1, 1931 in Michigan City, Indiana to Louis and Gertrude (Novak) Albertson. He married Donna Gifford in Heston, Indiana on June 23, 1951. Mr. Albertson was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the Army. He served God as a minister for 40 years in churches in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. He also loved sports. He is survived by his wife, Donna, of Homer; four sons, Clayton (Becky) Albertson of Canton, Ohio, Earl (Cindy) Albertson of Boone, Iowa, Kevin (Carol) Albertson of Bloomfield, Iowa, and Jeffery Albertson of Homer; daughter, Valerie Albertson of Homer; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Herb Albertson of Alabama; one sister, Betty Will of Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be at the Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels Monday, July 30, 2007 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels with the Reverend Brent Stille officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery Homer, Michigan. Assistance with memorials to the First Baptist Church New Building Fund of Litchfield is available at the funeral home.
