Rev. Dr. William Willes, M.A.

Archdeacon William Willes (c.1729-1815) was the son of Bishop Edward Willes & his wife Jane née Lawrance.

He married Margaret Jeans on the 22nd of Oct 1766 at St Cuthbert's Church, Wells, Somerset.

William Willes was Archdeacon of Wells between 20th October 1767 and 12th May 1815, he was previously Archdeacon of Taunton.

He died aged 86 on the 12 May 1815 at Christian Malford, Wiltshire and was buried there on the 19 May 1815.
