Robert Rutherford (Hugh1) and Mary, widow of Lord Howe, who was killed at Ticonderoga 1758. Graduate Trinity College, Hartford, 1831. Graduate General Theological Seminary, New York city, 1884. Episcopal clergyman in Fairfield, Conn., nineteen years, and in New York City. Published articles on religious and musical subjects. D.D. from Trinity College.
