[DEATHS. At Berlin, on the 19th instant, Rev. SAMUEL GOODRICH, aged 74 years. He was a native of Durham, and a graduate of Yale College; during the Revolution he took part in some of the struggles in his native State. He was settled at Ridgefield for about twenty-five years, and afterwards nearly the same period in Berlin. He was extensively and familiarly known in all parts of Connecticut as a preacher, and was greatly esteemed for the simplicity and sincerity of his character. —The Connecticut Courant newspaper (Hartford, Connecticut), Monday, April 27, 1835, p. 3, col. 3.]
