About Rev. Thomas Lake
Rev Thomas Lake named three sons Thomas, John and Peter, in his will. Thomas said he was of Nevendon the county of Essex in his will 18 Feb 1651/52. From the Nevendon Church Records Thomas was buried 29 Feb 1651/52. These records are on ERO Essex Record Office.
Something is drastically wrong here, Thomas Lake only mentions 3 sons in his will Thomas, John and Peter. He had no daughters living at the time of his death. Richard Sandell cousin wrote the 3 children of his cousin Thomas Lake deceased in his will of 1651/52.
Thomas could not marry Lady Elizabeth Lake in 1606, being born in 1600. Lady Lake was married to Sir Thomas Lake of Strathmore and probably no relation to our Thomas Lake.
