Reverend Abryon B Toms

Alpine Township History by Mary Rasch Alt Rev. A. B. Toms and his wife, Mary (Davenport) Toms, were married on September 4, 1864 (?). Before they left their home in Connecticut, they had three children: Edwin, Oscar, and Electa. In 1844, he had purchased a farm near the corner of Nine Mile Rd and Vinton Ave. Their granddaughter Alice "Kitty" Toms became a doctor and married Walter Vinton.
