• 746. Samuel, bo. July 6, 1817; ma. Hannah Clement, Feb. 18, 1843. No children. He indulged a hope in Christ while teaching in Plaistow, X. H., in 1837; was baptized by Rev. Benjamin Wheeler. He was ordained as pastor of the Baptist Church of South Gampton, N. H., June 1, 1842, but resigned the following October on account of ill health. He was again pastor of the same church in 1850. He preached in Lyman, Me., Ottawa and Fremont, 11. He died at his father's, in Brentwood, N. H., in 1854.
