Richard Bland, Esq., of Leeming

The pedigree of the Blands of Leeming is verified by the Visitation of Yorkshire, dated Aug. 13, 1666. The arms of the Blands were recorded at the College of Arms. Richard Bland of Leeming was the son of Robert Bland of Leeming. He married Grace Poole, daughter of Thomas Poole of Yorkshire. They had seven children. He died October, 1588 and was buried on Oct. 30, 1588 at the Burneston Church, as directed by his will. His widow Grace died on Jan. 4, 1588/89 and was buried beside him.
