Richard J. Dick Stahl, 76, Huntington, died at 6:45 p.m. Saturday (April 8, 2000) at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Mr. Stahl worked as a tool and die maker at the Essex Wire Corp., Fort Wayne, and at Caswell Runyan, Huntington. He was a member of the First Brethren Church. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Wabash to Henry A. and Mary Lusch Stahl. He married Roxie Grisso Aug. 28, 1943, in Huntington. His wife survives. Also surviving are a son, Mark Stahl, New Orleans; a sister, Eloise Memmer, Kokomo; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Jan Stahl; two brothers, Arthur H. Stahl and Glenn E. Stahl; and two sisters, Hilda G. Gurtner and Madeline Smoker. Calling is 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Raymond Waldfogel and Rev. Wesley Glass will officiate. Burial will be at the Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Preferred memorials are to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission, c/o Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN 46750.
