 of MARY his wife
who died May 30 1786 in <nowiki>----</nowiki> 57 years of her ??????? The year of death for Mary is wrong, it should be 1787. This is confirmed by her age and the fact that she was buried 31 May 1787. The inscription must have been made after her husband's death in 1818 which is over 30 years later. 

!FROM THE WILL OF RICHARD TRETHEWEY DATED 1 SEP 1809, PROVED 25 APR 1818: Richard TRETHEWEY of St Stephen in Brannel, cordwainer Bequests: - to his three sons, Thomas Trethewy, John Trethewy and William Trethewy and four daughters, Mary Trudgian, Elizabeth Pinch, Ann Warne Richards and Honour Truscott, (after the deduction of funeral and probate expenses and debts), all ready money, securities for money and all debts due to testator, to be divided equally between them, share and share alike. - to son William Trethewy, daughters Ann Warne Richards and Honour Truscott, all household goods and furniture divided equally between them - to son Richard Trethewy, one clear annuity of yearly sum of £5-10/- to be paid out of the leasehold premises commonly called the Moor Tenement in St Stephen in Brannel to be paid by his executor in equal quarterly portions from the time of his death during the term of 40 years if Richard shall live so long. The Moor Tenement is charged with payment of the said annuity and Richard Trethewy is empowered to levy the payment ?in case of non-payment on demand in such manner as by law allowed in case of distress for rent? - all his clothes and wearing apparel to be divided equally between his eight children - to son William Trethewy, the leasehold premises called the Moor Tenement from the time of his death for and ?during all such estate and interest as I shall die possessed of? subject to the annuity to Richard Trethewy as above - to William Trethewy the remainder of his personal estate not mentioned above.
